Day dreaming...

2012 starts with lots of plans and ideas - I think we'll get closer along this year, as I have lots of ideas in which you will participate! I hope you want to join me in these new adventures. I already told you a few things over at the Facebook page, but please keep telling me your thoughts and ideas, they are really important to me - you already know that! :)

I would really like to keep having you feedback. There's a group of wonderful people that I've met on the web that are pretty active in sharing their thoughts: Marcela Macias de Hadzimehmedi, Rita Malvar, Diane Katsuyoshi-Phillips, Isabel Coimbra, Ana Burmester Baptista, Sofia Lessa, Ana Pires, DJ, Joana Vieira da Silva, Tatica, Sofia Vasconcelos, and so many others - I thank you all once more, for when you share your feelings, you lead me towards the beautiful things that you like to see. :)

Today I'm showing you our lunch table, decorated with Cath Kidston plates, a vintage tablecloth that has been frequently featured here at the blog and some fresh flowers on a Ball Mason jar. Do you like it? Do you want to read more on table styling tips? Or is anything else in particular that you's rather see here... or at the shop? ;)

Sweet dreams...

Starting the new year with a good night sleep, resting my body and mind to face the challenges that come ahead, dreaming the sweet dreams that travel in my thoughts, where everything is pretty, peaceful and pure...

The photos of the blue lamp shade are from Mokassin - I just bought one, so I wanted to see how it will look in my bedroom! :)

I wish you a wonderful 2012!

Merry Christmas!

(we now have a shining star on top of the tree...)

Sun, cold weather, children, presents, a beautiful table to decorate and a tasting dinner that I will surely love!... I don't need anymore ingredients to be a happy person! What a joy it will be when the girls unwrap their presents! I want them to keep cheerful Christmas memories, where everything is pretty, glittering and sweet...

Training for a Christmas dinner table...

A very quick glimpse of  my Christmas dinner table training! This won't be the final version, but I'm testing the colours and layout. Now I have to go to the circus with the girls, so I'm in a hurry! Please tell me: do you like this?

Merry little bird...

It's impossible not to love Cath Kidston. Don't you just love the birdies napkins?

Pretty Christmas

Those who follow the blog's Facebook page (and whom I keep asking to become followers here in the blog as well :)) already know that I will keep posting about my Christmas inspirations and show you how things have been evolving here at home.

Some of the presents that I'm giving Carlota already arrived - those wonderful little boxes from Nest Pretty Things, that match perfectly the Cath Kidston pillows. I'll show you its content later on. As I'm wrapping some presents this weekend, I've been gathering a few ribbons that I placed in the white and gold serving dish. I'll be using that vintage tableware for Christmas dinner, I just love it. Do you like it?

What are your Christmas passions this year?

A Christmas present ❤

Dourado, vermelho e branco - verdadeiras cores do Natal! Espero que a professora Cristiana goste...

This year I didn't forget: Carlota is giving her teacher a present. Unfortunately, I usually forget these kind of things, even though I really like my daughter's school and her teacher. So I decided to use a Martha Stewart box from last year, and which I find beautiful, and filled it with two of my favourite things: chocolates and vintage ornaments! We'll now tie the red ribbon around the box and place the stickers on top of its lid (you don't see it the photos).

Gold, red and white - pure Christmas colours! I hope teacher Cristiana enjoys her present...

Christmas dinner table || some inspiration

Just a quick post with some table styling inspiration. I'm decorating our Christmas table in pink and gold (no surprise, really :)) and I'm really excited with my gold flatware! I love the luxury of velvet, so I'm using it to tie the cutlery. Do you like it?

Twinkle twinkle little star...

We still don't have a tree topper star to place in the tree.
And the girls are waiting for their presents, nicely wrapped, for them to dream about...
They already have their little shoes, one for each, waiting for Santa...
