É um clássico das mesas de doces e, na minha experiência, as crianças adoram-nos (e os adultos também)! Falo dos embrulhos de chocolate personalizados, que eu gosto de coordenar com a restante decoração da mesa - principalmente, com os elementos de papel que costumo utilizar e que dão sempre imensa graça ao conjunto.

Escolhi para demonstração na loja The Shop ❤ alguns padrões às bolinhas, pois é um tipo de desenho que se consegue conjugar com muitas outras combinações. Ora vejam algumas em que eu pensei e digam-me qual o vosso conjunto favorito...

Mix and match

This is a classical element on dessert tables and, in my experience, children love them (and adults too)! I talking about customized chocolate wrappers, that I like to coordinate with the rest of the table decoration - mostly with the rest of the paper elements that I usually use to style the tables.

I chose to show on The Shop ❤ some polka dots patterns, as it is a kind of pattern that you can match with a few other combinations. Take a look at what I thought of this and tell me what's your favourite set...

I bought this H&M tablecloth in England. I wanted a sheer romantic lace one for a long time and now I have it. In my mind, these tablecloths look better when we set the table in the garden, with warm weather and the sun shining...

Soul mates

As flores são dos meus motivos preferidos - no news, so far. As almofadas da Rose Hip continuam a ser uma das minhas perdições... maravilhosamente bem feitas, com uns padrões lindos de morrer, umas almas gémeas, cujos estampados se entendem entre si... E mais umas imagens de pormenores do quarto das meninas...

O resto do dia foi passado à volta do computador, a criar o cesto-de-compras para a loja . Já foram espreitar o separador "The Shop ❤"? Ainda não é a versão final do site que penso fazer mas, para já, vai funcionar a partir daqui. Não pus à venda os copos de papel com bolinhas brancas, pois não tive tempo! (quem estiver interessado, pode enviar-me um mail, claro está!) Vai chegar tanta coisa linda... :)

Flowers are some of my favourite decoration theme - no news, so far. I'm still in love with Rose Hip pillowcases, they're so wonderfully crafted, in sweet patterns, true soul mates... And a few more details of the girls bedroom...

The rest of the day was spent building the shop's shopping cart - have you seen "The Shop ❤" label already? This won't be the shop's final version, but for now it will work from here. I still didn't list the polka dot paper cups, no time to do it! (but if you need information on them, please send me an email!). There are so many pretty things on their way... :)

Pastel pink and aqua...

São cores suaves, da Primavera, de bebé, de rebuçado!.. Escolhi os copos e palhinhas para a loja dentro destes tons, pois as combinações possíveis são infinitas!! Gosto destas palhas clássicas, ao estilo vintage e que, combinadas com os padrões às bolinhas, ficam maravilhosas... até como um centro de mesa! :)

These are soft pastel hues, reminding me of Spring, babies and candies... I chose the cups and paper straws for the shop in these tones, as the combinations they provide are endless! I like the straws, classical vintage style, and I think they match the polka dot pattern wonderfully... they look great even as a centerpiece! :)

Easter colours

Este fim-de-semana tenho algumas coisas para vos mostrar e espero que nos próximos tenha ainda mais. Ainda estou em negociações para a loja online e tratar de tudo sozinha complica sempre um pouco - mas, haja vontade! :)

Uma das coisas que espero que encontrem na loja são alguns artigos de decoração que poderão usar em festas, principalmente para as mesas. Por isso, e porque já ando com o aniversário dos 2 anos da Conchinha na cabeça, vou-vos mostrar algumas coisas dentro do género que espero conseguir pôr à venda. Como a Concha faz anos no final de Março, já próximo da Páscoa, ando a treinar cores e padrões para a mesa dela, que será simples e pequenina, tal como a minha bebé. E como uma mesa passa de bonita a maravilhosa com os doces da Francisca da Cupcake, nada como vos mostrar estas maravilhas que lhe pedi para fazer e que embelezam na perfeição uns pratos com linhas muito próximas de alguns que planeio ter na loja.

This weekend I'm hoping to show you a couple of new things, and I hope to show you even more in the next weeks. I'm still dealing with suppliers for the new shop and having the whole thing done by myself isn't very easy - but I'm happy with it, so I'll manage to do it somehow! :)

One of the things that I'm planning to have on the webshop are decoration objects that you can use in your parties too, especially on the tables. Because of that, and also because I'm already brainstorming with Conchinha's upcoming 2nd anniversary, I'm showing you some things on the lines of what I'm planning to sell. As Concha's birthday is close to Easter, I've practising with colours and patterns, thinking of a small and simple sweet table, just like my baby is. And you know that a table turns from pretty into amazing with Francisca's beautiful sweets (Cupcake), so I asked her to make me these beautiful Easter eggs cookies, that enhance the plates prettiness just the way I imagined they would!

Mixed prints

Já ando a pensar nisto há bastante tempo, mas não tenho conseguido fazê-lo. Os meus fins-de-semana são maioritariamente passados sozinha com as miúdas e, entre trabalhos-de-casa e birras, mal consigo ter tempo para tirar fotografias e terminar algumas das coisas que planeio fazer. Esta é uma delas: pendurar mais algumas imagens na parede do quarto das meninas.

Gosto destas impressões botânicas, algumas delas são páginas de livros antigos. E acho que coordenam lindamente com os papeis-de-parede dos anos 60 e 70, precisamente porque, à primeira vista, não faria sentido... Depois de ver esta ideia no Fjeldborg, vou colar as imagens por cima de um rectângulo de papel-de-parede e pendurá-las depois na parede, que é branca. Parece-vos bem? :)

I've been thinking about this for quite some time now. But I spend the majority of the weekends alone with the two kids, so among homework and tantrums, I can hardly manage to take some photos and finish a couple of projects that I keep in mind. This was one of those little projects: hang a few more images in the girls' bedroom.

I like these botanical prints, some of them are pages of old books. And I think they match the vintage wallpaper perfectly, so after I saw this idea at Fjeldborg, I decided to glue them on top of a rectangular piece of old wallpaper and hang them on the white wall. I like the fact that the images and the wallpaper are from different ages, because it makes no sense at first... that's precisely what I like about this. Wouldn't you agree? :)

Day dreaming...

2012 começa com muitos planos e ideias - acho que este ano ainda vamos ficar mais próximas, pois estou cheia de ideias em que vocês irão participar! Espero que se queiram juntar a mim nas novas aventuras que antecipo. Já fui abrindo um pouco do véu em conversa, através do Facebook, mas por favor continuem a dar as vossas ideias e sugestões, pois são sempre muito importantes - vocês já sabem que sim! :)

Para isso, gostava de continuar a ouvir e ler as vossas opiniões. Há um conjunto de amigas que tenho conhecido na blogosfera e que são muito activas nessa partilha de ideias - a Marcela Macias de Hadzimehmedi, Rita Malvar, Diane Katsuyoshi-Phillips, Isabel Coimbra, Ana Burmester Baptista, Sofia Lessa, Ana Pires, DJ, Joana Vieira da Silva, Tatica, Sofia Vasconcelos, entre muitas e muitas outras queridas pessoas - a todas vós, o meu muito obrigada, pois ao partilharem generosamente os vossos pensamentos, ajudam-me a ir de encontro àquilo de que mais gostam neste mundo de coisas bonitas! :)
